She was born as the first child of Haridasan and Sujatha.She has a brother.Her father who retired From Indian Airforce died when she was only eight years old.She stays with her grand parents and mother.

She was the winner of Miss Kerala 2000 Competition. She became prominent in the TV through the program Sahasikante Lokam broadcast by Asianet.She hit the big time when she was chosen to Anchor the Malayalam reality show Idea Star Singer(2007–Present),She is famous for her manglish(Malayalam mixed heavily with English) and her cockiness.She also anchors Programs in Rose bowl and Amruta TV.She is a lead choice in Kerala for presenting the stage shows.She also models for various brands in kerala.She is also invited abroad: she was presenting the closing ceremony at 2010 Keli international Kalamela in Switzerland. She receives a salary in lakhs/month for being the anchor of the reality show Idea star singer.


She was educated at Choice school till the 12th grade and then at St. Teresa's College.At the age of 21 she went to work for an IT company in bangalore.Afterwards she went to the United Kingdom for her MBA graduation,but she didn't complete the course.
